The Arcade September Round is coming to and end, but
I promised 4 guides and I always keep my word. This 4th phase of the Learning to Decorate with the Arcade is called
Take your time for 2 different reasons.
The first one is that Home and Decor shots take longer that fashion shots, at least for me, maybe just because I am used to do fashion
for years and stylings and pictures don't take too long for me anymore. But for Decor I do not only need to work on the styling and credits, I also need to focus on building the set, finding appropriate poses for the furniture I want to shot and the do all the photoshop post-processing I am so terrible at. It takes a lot of time, but it is also a lot more fun that just styling and posing for fashion shots. My suggestion is don't hurry,
take your time and enjoy what you are doing.
Someone taught me long ago that when you love what you do, it shows.
The second reason is that after going crazy at these machines and getting so many amazing items, im my opinion, you also need to take some time for yourself. Relax, open every single box with care and take time to check all the little details. I believe that sometimes, on the rush, we don't really take enough time to truly acknowledge all the hard work behind the goodies we just got, and sometimes it's hard for us to reckon the value of items when they are low priced, and that, my friends, it's a big error in this case, because the quality of the items on this event is absolutely astonishing and deserves to be recognized.
I must confess I feel sad that I didn't have the chance to
blog many other items I acquired this time, again, but I am sure I will be able to add them on future blog posts. That's the reason I always include designer names on credits, so when an event is over, you can always try and visit the designer mainstore and check if they placed their gacha machines there (many of them do). The Arcade Organization even worked out a
google spreadsheet with the different stores and gacha locations on their website, which makes our life so much easier.
And if you can't find a certain item do not worry there is a last option.
The Arcade - Gacha Events is a open group (
with some rules) for trading items from
The Arcade Events, and it is true that during the round they mainly trade the current round items but when it's over the groups goes CRAZY, crazy I am telling you, and people trade items from previous events as well. So if you are a Arcade lover and would like to get any of the items from previous rounds, just join
this group and get ready to join the mad house of collectors, you won't regret it.
